ReplyDeleteBRIDGET MCCARTHY: ITUNES: Wow! I really liked this photo! I think it is a cool idea and I like position and the creative title. It really adds to the overall composition of the piece. Mabye something that you could have done to make this photo ven better would be to put more variety in color in the background. I think you could have also tried to use a different font.
ReplyDeleteSteph Crowley: Egg Picture
ReplyDeleteI thought that your envision of this picture was really well composed. I liked how the egg was perfectly alined in the picture. You must have had a great vision to show that the egg was the way you wanted it. Also I thought that you had expressed something in this piece. It shows that you thought about your composition and then executed it throughout the composition of the picture. The lighting in this picture was great in that it showed the glitter shine in the light. I thought that the depth in the picture could have been a little bit better executed in your photo.
Evan Flaherty: Pop Art:
ReplyDeleteI like how you developed a simplistic feel and how you utilized symmetry and reflection to your advantage.I also how you used the empty background to focus her face almost as to frame it. It's a great photo however the mechanics [such as complexity] lack, it also does not show you're true potential as a photographer.
Lindsey Marshalka: Egg:
ReplyDeleteI really liked your use of lighting in this photo to make an interesting shadow on the egg, and I liked how the branches framed the egg. To make the photo more interesting I would suggest using the rule of thirds and having the egg in the left or right of the photo, opposed to having it in the center of the photo. Also you could have used cropping to have a more interesting perspective in the photo.

ReplyDeleteI thought you had a nice composition in this picture. I thought that you could have used your envision of the picture better to create a more engaging picture. But overall I thought that the picture was great, and I liked the different colors and designs you picked in Photoshop to give the picture a more Pop Art picture.
Evan Flaherty: bubbles:
ReplyDeleteI admire your artistic abilities shown in this photo. I like how you used the rule of thirds with the bubble wand and how you captured the photo right at that particular moment. Although you have an amazing artistic mind I believe you could have utilized more tools photography.
BRIDGET MCCARTHY: FIELDTRIP: WOW!!!I LOVED THIS! The photo is lit so well and i love the balance in this photo. It is well centered and where there isn't bridge there is sky which has a beautiful tone that makes the photo seem so complete. I think the perspective is magnificent and adds to feeling of the picture. I really don't know what i'm supposed to write for how you could improv this but i guess you maybe could have cropped out the sky a little more. I also guess there could have been a little more of the rocks in the picture to sow more juxtaposition.

ReplyDeleteI really love this picture. I like your use of leading lines with the river and I liked the perspective you used with having the picture be really close to the wood. I would suggest that you cropped in just a little bit more to make the water a bigger focus of the photo. You also could have used symmetry with the wood in the front of the picture to make the picture more balanced

Lydia Crowley: Glass:
ReplyDeleteLydia, the transparency of the glass really compliments the image. The multiple sizes of the different glass pieces really make this image stand out. I think that you have a great sense of camera angle. I think that you could've cropped a little more to make the glass stand out moar. Great work, enjoy the weather, Zach :)
HALLE ROADS ITUNES: I really like the composition and creative title. The movement in this picture is very well thought out. The contrast between lights and darks excellent! To improve this photo you could of used a background that relates more to the theme of the photo. Also you could of made the writing larger. Overall the piece was very well thought out! Good work!
ReplyDeleteKATHY Q: EGG: I really liked this photo! The color contrast between the blue, red, and white was EGGcelent and the cropping was very EGGciting. For EGGsample, the EGGstreme use of glitter in this photo provided and EGGstravegant texture. Something that I would work on would be the camera angle. After EGGxamining the photo, the egg becomes a little washed out due to the lighting. A lower camera angle could have prevented this. But overall this was an EGGcelent phot and it did EGGxactly what it should have done!
ReplyDeleteSean Reidy: IPod
ReplyDeleteOverall, I really liked this photo because you did a great job photoshopping. The background is proportional to the silhoutte and the use of rule or thirds balances the pictures. With these strategies and good photoshopping skills, the photo is quite a pleasure to look at.
If you had the opportunity to redo this project, perhaps you would consider darkening the background. The focus is supposed to be on you which it is, however with the amount of detail that the background has, attention is drawn to it. Other than that, I really liked this photo.
Lydia Crowley: Egg:
ReplyDeleteI think that this picture has gr8 balance. The colors really exemplify your splendid work as an artiste. I would like to see more from the rule of thirds throughout your next photo spree. I really thought the yolk being incorporated gave the picture some great saturation. The yellow from the yolk gave the picture a different sort of light and color.
KATHY Q: GLASS: I really liked the use of glass in this photo! The placement of the glass really allows for great reflections to occur. Something that I would improve on would be the lighting. If the lighting had been a little bit brighter the reflections would have been a little clearer and the illusion would have been stronger! But overall this was a very good picture!

ReplyDeleteHello Braeden, I love this picture a lot. I thoroughly enjoy how you cleverly used the rule of thirds to show the contrast in the sewing machine. In addition, the fur in the picture throws the viewer in for a little twist because one wouldn't expect a piece of fur on a sewing machine. Congrats on a great piece of art.

Sean Reidy: Bubble
ReplyDeleteThe changes in lights and darks across the sky give this picture an amazing look. Within the bubble, there are both lights and darks and the bubble appears like glass moving out of the clouds. Because there is limited detail but drastic color change in the background, the bubble catches the viewers eye right away. This is my favorite photo of yours.
Getting a picture of a bubble is hard, not to mention a good picture because the bubble is moving. Perhaps the cropping could have centered the bubble or brought it to one side to use the rule of thirds. This picture looks professional and all the colors are perfect. Great Job!

ReplyDeleteThis picture literally made me LOL! Your incorporation of the modern day "selfie" is brilliant. Yet the picture could have had better focus and more aspects to it. Yet it still stands out as a spectacular photograph.

HALLE ROADS GLASS: I really like the angle at which this photo is taken. The sizes and colors of the different glass objects look nice together. Also I like how the camera is focussed on the close brown glass and the back is sort of blurred. To improve this photo i would get less of the background in the picture and zoom in more on the glass. Also you could of added a few more glass objects to fill the empty space. Overall the picture is very well compossed.
